Shahpura, July 11 (HS). The 104th birth anniversary of Dr Suraj Prakash, founder of Bharat Vikas Parishad and the 62nd foundation day of Bharat Vikas Parishad were celebrated with great fervor in Shahpura. Along with this, the environment fortnight was started. A tree plantation program was also organized at the headquarters here. During this, the message of environmental protection and tree plantation was given by throwing seed balls under the campaign started by the council.
The function organized under the chief hospitality of Shahpura District Collector Rajendra Singh Shekhawat was presided over by Provincial Vice President Sanskar Pawan Bangar. Municipal Council Chairman Raghunandan Soni and District Coordinator Yashpal Patni were present as special guests.
The ceremony started with the lighting of lamps and garlanding of the pictures of Bharat Mata, Maa Saraswati and Swami Vivekananda by the guests. After which all the guests were welcomed by the council members by wearing Uparna.
In the absence of the branch president of Bhavip, state vice president Pawan Bangad welcomed everyone and presented the details of the work done by Bharat Vikas Parishad from its inception till date. Chairman Raghunandan Soni said that under the guidance of the district collector, plantation is being done with the cooperation of everyone, which will be very pleasant for the district in the coming times. Shahpura has set a record in the state by planting more than 8 lakh saplings in a single day in Shahpura district. Now it is our responsibility to protect the plants.
Chief guest Collector Shekhawat, while calling himself a member of Bhavip, said that there is a need to take inspiration from the work done by Bhavip in nation building by spreading the feelings of contact, cooperation, service, culture to families. While explaining the importance of plants in today's era, he said that planting trees is the responsibility of every person. More than 8 lakh plants have been planted in Shahpura district with the cooperation of everyone. Which is a record in Rajasthan and it is the collective responsibility of all of us that we all take care of these plants in a systematic manner, they keep circulating energy and oxygen in the lives of all of us, due to which the life cycle of all continues properly.
