Hisar, 21 May (Hissar). Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday with Central Medical Centre, Multispeciality Hospital (CMC), a unit of Progressive Medical Care and Research Center Private Limited, Hisar.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi said on Tuesday that Hisar is a medical hub not only for Haryana but also for the surrounding states. Every day thousands of patients from other states and cities come to Hisar for treatment. In such a situation, there is a constant need for trained staff in the hospitals here. Keeping this fact in mind, new courses like B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc Laboratory, B.Sc Operation Theater Technology, GNM and ANM are being started in the university this year. Apart from this, medical related courses are also being conducted by the university in the departments of Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Haryana School of Business and Psychology.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi said that the students, researchers and teachers of the university will be able to take advantage of the expertise and resources of CMC. This will enhance the medical skills of students and researchers. Students will be able to do practical training in CMC.
Dr. Ranju Popli also described this MoU as extremely beneficial for both the institutions and said that the MoU with GSI is a matter of pride for CMC as well. This MoU will mark the beginning of a new era in the medical field for both the institutions. On behalf of Gujviprovi, Vice Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi and Director Dr. Ranju Popli signed the MoU on behalf of CMC.

Pro. Namita Singh told that in the university, Clinical Psychology, B.Sc Nursing, B.Voc related to medical science are offered. Patient Care Management, B.Voc. Critical Care Management, B.Voc. Para Medical and Health Administration, Integrated B.Sc Hons/Hons with Research-MSc Medical Imaging Technology, Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technician, Bachelor in Operation Theater Technology, Integrated B.Sc Hons/Hons with Research-Yoga Science and Therapy, MBA in addition to GNM and ANM. Courses like in Health Care, Post Graduate Diploma in RCI and Diploma in Child Guidance and Counseling etc. are being conducted. Students of these courses will benefit from this MoU.
