Hisar, July 17 (HS). Sachiv Nehra, a resident of Narnaund, has created history by securing first position in the UPSC examination in the whole country. He was warmly welcomed by the villagers at Dada Devraj Dharamshala in Narnaund. Shamsher Lohan, national president of Satrol Khap, Nehra Khap and Lohan gotra, honoured Sachiv by making him wear a turban.
During this, Congress leader former MLA Prof. Rambhagat, Dr. Ajay Chaudhary, Dilbagh Dhanda, Dr. Kulwant Mor, Zila Parishad Dinesh Sheoran, Sarpanch Ramkesh, Pritam Lohan, INLD leader Umed Lohan, Suresh MC, Jagdish Bhairon also felicitated him. Secretary Nehra, a resident of Narnaund, who got the first position in EPFO in the whole country by UPSC, is very happy with his success. Now he will be appointed as Epidex Provident Fund Commissioner. At present, he is posted as Excise Inspector in Delhi. Secretary had passed 10th class from Upasana Senior Secondary School of Narnaund and 12th from Jind school.
After that, he did B.Tech from Bhiwani and got 13th rank in CGL exam and got employed as Excise Inspector in Delhi. He continued his job to run the family and started preparing for UPSC. He started studying for three to four hours every day and studied for 8 to 10 hours on holidays but in 2022, during the Corona period, his father Vedpal Nehra and sister Suraksha died. It was very difficult to recover from that accident but mother Murti Devi encouraged him and after that the secretary took steps towards his destination.
The Secretary is also very fond of reading books. There are about 800 books in his room even today. Reading books on different subjects is a part of his personal life. He has a special interest in reading books on psychology and self-help. He also keeps reading books on meditation and also meditates every day. He says that the secret of his success is meditation. Meditation helps a lot in recovering from the evils of society. It also gives a different power.
