Narnaul: There will be a ban on carrying mobile phones, paper and pen to the counting centre

Narnaul, June 3 (HS). All preparations have been completed by the district administration for the counting of votes for the Lok Sabha General Elections-2024. Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner of Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Parliamentary Constituency Monika Gupta said on Monday that the counting of votes will take place at Mahila ITI, PR Center and Olympic Club Hall, for which all preparations have been completed.

The Deputy Commissioner said that the counting of votes of all the assembly constituencies of district Mahendragarh will be done in PR Center and ITI. The counting of votes of the remaining two districts will be done in the respective districts. The counting of ballot papers of all the three districts will be done in the Olympic Club Hall. Separate teams have been formed for this. All the teams and agents will reach at 6 am. The counting of votes will start at 8 am. Before this, all the counting officers will be given breakfast on their tables.

12 plus 1 tables will be set up for counting of Nangal Chaudhary assembly votes. 14 plus 1 tables will be set up for Ateli. 14 plus 1 tables will be set up for Mahindergarh assembly vote and 14 plus 1 tables will be set up for counting of votes of Narnaul assembly constituency. There will be a counting assistant, counting supervisor and a micro observer on each table. He said that no item can be taken to the counting centre. No counting officer, employee and agent can take even paper or pen with them. Besides this, one cannot go inside with ring, chain, any jewellery or keys. There will also be a ban on carrying mobile phone and belt.

General Observer R. Gajalakshmi (IAS) appointed by the Election Commission of India also reviewed the preparations going on at the counting centres. She visited all the counting centres and interacted with the officials and inspected every work minutely. Other officials were also present with her on this occasion.
