Bhopal, August 29 (HS). This time, one lakh 82 thousand 529 sisters tied Raksha Sutra to Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang, breaking their own record and setting a new record. On Thursday, on the last day of Rakshabandhan Mahotsav, a large number of sisters reached the programs organized in Wards 69, 41 and 58 under Narela Assembly to tie Raksha Sutra to Minister Sarang. On the occasion of Sports Day, a large number of women players also tied Raksha Sutra at TT Nagar Stadium.
Minister Sarang said in his address that last year more than 1 lakh 42 thousand sisters had tied Rakhi. This year this number has increased further. He said that it is my good fortune that every year I receive the love of lakhs of sisters of Narela family. This love of sisters makes me emotional every time. Minister Sarang expressed his gratitude to the sisters by bowing down from the stage itself.

The enthusiasm of the sisters was visible on the last day of Narela Rakshabandhan festival. All the sisters were very excited to tie Raksha Sutra to their brother Vishwas Sarang. As soon as Minister Sarang reached the venue, all the sisters showered flowers on him and gave him a warm welcome. Sarang accepted the greetings of all the sisters by waving his hand towards them and expressed his gratitude. Before the Rakshabandhan festival, more than one lakh sisters participating in the festival were registered in 338 booths of all 17 wards of Narela Assembly. Sisters from nearby areas also got themselves registered offline and online.
