The United States Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has released a list of the top 10 most wanted. Bhadresh Kumar Patel, an Indian citizen living in Veergamgam, Ahmedabad, is also in this list. The FBI has placed a reward of $250,000 (Rs 20902825) on him.
Bhadresh Kumar Patel has been on the run since 2015, when he allegedly murdered his wife Palak with a knife inside a Dunkin' Donuts coffee shop in Hanover, Maryland. According to the report, Patel, who was 24 at the time, slashed his 21-year-old wife in the face with a kitchen knife and stabbed her multiple times in the back room of the shop where they both worked at the scene.
The couple's visa had expired about a month before the murder. Investigators believe that Palak Patel wanted to return to India but was opposed by her husband.
Earlier the FBI had issued a reward list for helping Bhadresh in Farn. He was listed in 2017 with a $100,000 reward for information, but he remains at large. In April 2015, Patel and his wife were working the night shift at a Dunkin' Donuts store. CCTV footage from the night of the crime showed Bhadresh and Palak walking together towards the store's kitchen before disappearing behind a rack.
