A shocking incident happened during the screening of Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa-2 at Gaiety Galaxy Theater in Mumbai. The screening was hastily closed after a mysterious spray caused several people to fall ill.
The incident was reported to police officials, who conducted an investigation. According to reports, the screening was stopped for 15-20 minutes after the intermission. During the screening, a stranger sprayed a substance, causing people in the theater to complain of cough, sore throat and vomiting. The show was stopped after people’s complaints. Screening was resumed when the situation became normal. Police are currently trying to find out which spray was used inside the theatre. Police expressed suspicion that the spray which was to be used outside in the open space, was used inside the theatre. Police are currently examining the CCTV footage. They were also interrogating insiders for evidence. A spectator present inside the theater said, “We came back after the interval and started coughing. We went to the bathroom and started vomiting.” The smell lasted for about 10-15 minutes. It ended after the theater doors opened. After which the film started again.
