Myanmar's great revolutionary leader Aung San Suu Kyi's health deteriorated: kept under house arrest from jail

Bangkok: Myanmar's military junta said Wednesday that ousted leader Aung San Suu Kyi will be moved from prison to her residence but should be kept under house arrest due to her deteriorating health. The junta also said that his health had deteriorated due to the extreme heat.

In fact, in 2021, the army overthrew the elected government in Myanmar and imprisoned the leaders of that time government. Suu Kyi and her entire family, including her husband, were put behind bars. After that, nationwide riots broke out against this pro-Chinese military junta. But just as China crushed the pro-democracy protesters in Tiananmen Square (Great Peace Square), it also crushed these non-violent protests and jailed all the pro-democracy leaders. Suu Kyi was the first among them.

Suu Kyi's prison journey continued despite calls by all major democracies of the world, including India, to release Suu Kyi and other agitators from Myanmar's military rule.

Meanwhile, a funny incident also happened. At that time, the government of Aung San Suu Kyi had sent its representative to UNO (New York) to participate in the United Nations General Assembly. He also participated in the United Nations General Assembly on behalf of Myanmar. There are indications that the military junta has overthrown the democratic government in Myanmar. Therefore, the President of the UNO General Assembly allowed the delegate to sit in the hall but said that he would not be able to make any speech or vote (if at all). Because your government is no more. The surprising thing is that when the UNO President said this, the representative of Myanmar came to know that a coup had taken place in his country.
