Punjab sacrilege case: In the case of insulting Guru Granth Sahib, a mob beat up Bakshish Singh in Firozpur, Punjab. In this case, the pain of Lakhbinder Singh, father of 19 year old Bakshish Singh, has been expressed. He said, my son was killed in front of my eyes. When I tried to save my son, they ran to kill me too.

What is the whole matter?

According to reports, the incident took place on Saturday (May 4) in Bandala village of Firozpur. Police say 19-year-old Bakshish Singh tore some pages of Guru Granth Sahib after entering the premises of Gurudwara Baba Bir Singh in Bandala village. The incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the Gurudwara. In this case the mob attacked the young man.

the young man was mentally ill

Lakhbinder Singh, father of deceased Bakshish Singh, says, “My son was undergoing treatment for his mental condition for two years. When I heard that my son was being beaten by the mob, I reached the spot with a doctor's prescription to save my son's life. But people snatched the doctor's prescription on the spot and did not even listen to me. At present, no police officer is ready to say anything officially in this matter. SSP Soumya Mishra says, 'Every aspect is being investigated in this case. Whatever cases emerge in the investigation, action will be taken accordingly.
