Prajwal Revanna HD Revanna: A victim of Karnataka's famous sex scandal case has come forward and made serious allegations against suspended JDS leader Prajwal Revanna and his father HD Revanna. She said that Prajwal had raped her mother at his residence in Bengaluru four-five years ago. I too was sexually abused. According to SIT sources, the identity of the victim girl has been kept secret. Referring to the incident, he has recorded a detailed statement against the accused Prajwal.
The girl has also alleged that between 2020 and 2021, Prajwal Revanna forced her to answer video calls. He and his mother were also threatened and forced to take off their clothes over video call. Apart from this, he also made serious allegations against Prajwal Revanna's father HD Revanna.
According to sources, the victim told the SIT, “He (Prajwal) used to call me and ask me to take off my clothes. He used to call my mother's mobile and force me to take video calls. When I refused. When I refused, he told me and threatened my mother, when our family came to know all this they supported us and then we filed a complaint.
'I don't know how to make rape videos'
The victim alleged that we had threatened not to complain about the harassment to anyone. Prajwal raped my mother at his residence in Basavanagudi, Bengaluru. We don't know whether the video was made or not. The video has gone viral and although we have not seen it ourselves but the police has shown it to us and Prajwal's face is visible in it.
“HD Revanna and Prajwal Revanna raped and sexually assaulted my mother,” the girl alleged in the complaint. Prajwal also sexually exploited me. Prajwal threatened my mother that if she did not cooperate, he would kill her husband i.e. take away my mother.” Papa's job, make him unemployed and rape his daughter i.e. me.”
The girl further said that the constant harassment between 2020 and 2021 took a toll on her family, forcing them to change their phone numbers. The girl had also alleged that Prajwal, MP from Hassan seat, used to sexually harass female servants in his house.
'Along with his job, Revanna also used to do sexual harassment'
The girl claimed, 'Yes, it is true that Revanna used to sexually assault the maids by luring them. He used to rape my mother also. So far three people have come forward and publicly explained the incidents. The remaining three servants did not tell anything about these atrocities. She has also been sexually exploited. We did not tell anyone about this, it was I who told my mother about Prajwal's video call exploit.
'Mother used to come home once in four-five months'
The girl also claimed that she was forced to sell her land two years after the incident. The girl alleged, “Although we were relatives, he harassed my mother so much that she (my mother) used to come home only once in four-five months. “She was harassed so much that she would call us almost late at night.” She used to call only at 1 or 2 o'clock.
