On the initiative of District Magistrate Savin Bansal, shuttle service will soon start in the district. The district administration has started preparations to bring the traffic system back on track in Mussoorie. In the first phase, two hi-tech buses will be run from Kincrag to Library Chowk and Picture Palace, which will automatically stop at Kincrag parking. This will not only make the journey easier for Mussoorie residents and tourists, but will also provide relief from traffic jams.
District Magistrate Savin Bansal has started the exercise to restart Kincrag parking in the tourist city of Mussoorie. For this, instructions have been given to start shuttle bus service from Kincrag parking to Library and Picture Palace. While giving instructions to tender within 10 days, he also instructed the police department to set up office setup computer network in Kincrag. The police will have information about the maximum parking limit of all hotels. After the parking of a hotel is full, the vehicles will be stopped at Kincrag only. Will be sent through shuttle service onward from Kincraig.
The District Magistrate instructed SP Traffic to strictly implement this system. He said that whatever resources are required by the police, the District Magistrate will immediately provide funds for it. He instructed Deputy District Magistrate Mussoorie, Superintendent of Police Traffic and Executive Officer Municipal Council Mussoorie to take immediate action. During this, Superintendent of Police Traffic Mukesh Kumar, Joint Magistrate Mussoorie Anamika, Deputy District Magistrate Headquarters Shalini Negi etc. were present.
