Khunti, 11 October (Hindustan Reporter). Revealing the murder of Shahil Mansidh Purti, a resident of Kamanta village of Khunti police station area, the police has arrested the murder accused Bhola Tanti (20). Bhola Tanti is a resident of Datia village of Khunti police station area.
In this regard, Khunti sub-divisional police officer Varun Rajak said that Shahil, a resident of Kamanta, was murdered on September 24. Considering the seriousness of the matter, SIT was formed by Superintendent of Police Aman Kumar under the leadership of SDPO of Khunti. On the basis of intensive technical research and secret information by the SIT team, the accused Bhola Tanti, involved in the incident, was arrested on Friday.
During interrogation, the accused admitted his involvement in the murder and said that on the day of the incident, while smoking ganja with his friends and Shahil Mansidh Purti, he was strangled to death due to abuses by Mansidh Purti. The SIT team included SDPO Varun Rajak, Police Inspector cum Khunti station in-charge Mohan Kumar, Police Sub Inspector Augustin Lugun, Amit Kumar, Mardi, Jitendra Kumar, Mantu Kumar, Constable Roshan Kumar Sharma, Constable Bhanu Pratap and bodyguards of SDPO.
