The husband, father-in-law and one of the accused involved in the murder are absconding.
DCP East Shashank Singh told journalists that a woman named Pooja had died in a road accident on May 20, 2023. Father-in-law Ram Milan had filed a case in this regard against the unknown driver at Chinhat police station.
During the investigation of the case, the police collected all the evidence and arrested Kuldeep Singh, originally a resident of Barabanki, Deepak Verma, a resident of Indiranagar, Lucknow and Alok Nigam, a resident of Daliganj, and interrogated them. In this, all three told that as part of a conspiracy, husband Abhishek, father-in-law Ram Milan and another youth Abhishek got four wheeler, two wheeler in the name of Pooja, CC loan in the name of Mudra Loan Shop and accident insurance along with insurance policy. Went. After this, these people killed Pooja by crushing her with a car. After Pooja's death, insurance company officials had expressed fear of murder to the police.
DCP East Shashank Singh said that the murderers had become witnesses to get the insurance claim and loan amount. The police arrested the murder accused and the team was busy searching for three other absconding accused.
