Rajkot: After repeatedly raping a girl living in Railnagar area of the city by luring her for marriage, a man named Gautam Solanki settled in Ahmedabad. Where he married Tykata. According to details received in this regard, a 24-year-old girl living in a colony of Railnagar lodged a complaint against Gautam Solanki (28, resident of Railnagar, now Ahmedabad) at Prannagar police station and the police registered a crime. The accused was arrested under section including rape.
According to police sources, the girl fell in love with the accused Gautam, who lives in Railnagar area. Both of them loved each other for the last seven years, so both of them often talked on the phone. Accused Gautam lured the girl with the promise of marriage and took her to different hotels in the city and often sexually exploited her.
A year ago the accused was going to Ahmedabad for business. Where he married the mother of a child. Meanwhile, the accused had come to Rajkot with his wife on Diwali festival. On getting information about this, the girl reached the accused’s house. When it was told that the lover had married another woman, a fight broke out between the two.
Finally, when the girl lodged a complaint, City Police’s PI Jhankat and writer Mansoorsha registered a case against the accused Gautam, arrested him and took action.
