Murder case revealed in Jamshedpur, three arrested

East Singhbhum, 28 October (HS). Police have arrested three accused in the case of shooting death of Vikas Sahu alias Vikas Gupta on Dimna Road in Ulidih police station area of ​​East Singhbhum (Jamshedpur).

The arrested accused include Umesh Das, resident of Turiyabeda, Dheeraj Sharma alias Dheeraj Thakur and Suku Karmakar, resident of Chhayanagar. At the behest of the accused, two weapons, four live cartridges and the bike used in the incident have been recovered. Disclosing the case on Monday, SSP Kishore Kaushal said that Vikas Sahu alias Vikas Gupta was shot dead on September 29 on Dimna Road of Ulidih police station area. The reason for this murder was mutual rivalry, which was carried out by Umesh Das.

The SSP said that there was a clash between Umesh and Vikas a month before the incident, after which Umesh planned to murder Vikas. He included his friends in this plan. To plan the murder, Umesh gathered in his house and did recce. Information was received that Vikas used to go to Ganesh Singh's house every day at 11 am, hence this time was chosen for the murder. A total of five people were involved in this incident, out of which three have been arrested. Police are conducting raids to search for other accused.
