Murder case registered against four including husband over wife's death


Firozabad, 13 April (HS). In the Khairgarh police station area, a case has been registered against four people including the husband on the complaint of the mother's side, in the case of death of a newly married woman by hanging on Friday night. Police have started searching for the accused.

Sankhini resident Karishma (20), wife of a lawyer, died by hanging on Friday night. After his death the family members fled. A young man from the village informed Karishma's parents about the incident over phone. As soon as this was found out, Karishma's brother Ahmed Ali reached Sankhini along with his father Islam Ali and other family members. The family members started crying after seeing Karishma's dead body. The parents have accused the in-laws of murder. As soon as the incident was known, the police reached the spot. Police interrogated people. The dead body was sent to the district hospital for post-mortem.

The deceased's brother told that he had married Karishma 7 months ago. Even after that the sister's in-laws were demanding additional dowry. The brother alleges that his in-laws have murdered his sister. Brother has filed a case in the police station against her lawyer husband, brother-in-law Shakeel, mother-in-law Anwari and Guddan. Police have registered a case and are searching for the accused.
