Hisar, June 13 (HS). The Nagar Palika Karamchari Sangh, angry over the long delay in resolving their demands and problems, has announced a protest on Thursday. The organization has alleged that they are being put off by giving repeated assurances. On the call of the Nagar Palika Karamchari Sangh, the employees held a gate meeting and handed over a memorandum of their demands to Joint Commissioner Dr. Preetpal Singh.

District head Sunil Ladwa presided over the gate meeting while the stage was conducted by district secretary Bishan Singh. Apart from this, unit head Rajesh Bagdi, secretary Surendra Rana, vice head Satyawan Bhatti, treasurer Shashikant, chief advisor Atmaprakash, vice head Poorna Bhadar, vice head Shyam, women Karnvar Seva, Suman, Surajmukhi, Bala, state's senior vice head Ashok Bohat, Sarva Karamchari Sangh block secretary Vinod Prabhakar, along with sanitation workers Kuldeep, Raju, Sukha, Fauji, Murari, Ishwar etc were present.

Taking the demands of the employees to the gate meeting, stage operator Bishan Singh said that the contract system should be abolished and all temporary employees should be made permanent. Giving details of the movement, he said that on Friday, June 14, a memorandum of the demands will be submitted to the additional corporation commissioner and deputy corporation commissioner in the name of the Chief Minister. Besides this, on June 20, the officials of the Employees Union of all the municipalities, Municipal Council, Municipal Corporation and Fire of Hisar district will submit a memorandum with the demands in the name of the Chief Minister to the Deputy Commissioner. After this, on June 23, all the officials and employees of the district will participate in large numbers in the Maha Padav to be held at the residence of Local Bodies Minister Subhash Sudha in Kurukshetra.
