Gorakhpur, September 12 (HS). Under the PM Swanidhi Yojana, the Municipal Corporation of Gorakhpur was awarded by the Urban Employment and Poverty Alleviation Program Department of the Uttar Pradesh Government in the category of Major Cities by the Cabinet Minister of the Uttar Pradesh Government during a program organized in Lucknow. Additional Municipal Commissioner Nirankar Singh was also present during the prize distribution.
Municipal Commissioner Gaurav Singh Sogarwal said that Gorakhpur Municipal Corporation has received the first prize in the PM Swanidhi Award at the national and state level. For this, Mayor Dr Manglesh Shrivastava, Additional Municipal Commissioner Durgesh Mishra, PO DUDA Vikas Singh have done a historic work. All the parameters given for PM Swanidhi have been followed.
