14 flights diverted
Due to flooding on the Harbor Line, services were suspended from 9:40 pm and trains were run only between CSMT-Kurla and Vashi-Panvel. 14 flights were diverted to Mumbai airport, while seven flights failed to land and attempted to land a second time.
Train service affected due to rain
Train services on both main and port lines of Central Railway were badly affected due to heavy rains. Western Railway has not reported any disruption. Due to heavy waterlogging on the main line outside Vidyavihar, the slow local service was stopped from 8:10 pm. Services on the Thane-bound line resumed at 9:10 pm with speed restrictions, while services on the CSMT-bound line resumed at 9:40 pm.
