The company is working on a Sound Box payment system for its Jio Pay app. Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries is testing its own sound box with employees in some of its brick-and-mortar stores, TechCrunch reports. This test is being conducted at the internal premises of Reliance. That means it is not yet available to remote traders. Like other sound boxes, when a customer makes a payment with the help of Jio Pay, this box notifies through voice and tells the amount of money in the account.
