Hopefully, within a year we will get good news related to this. Let us tell you that Serum Institute has developed the corona vaccine.
What is MPOX?
Monkeypox is a viral disease caused by the monkeypox virus, a species of the Orthopoxvirus genus. Monkeypox was formerly known as monkeypox. The virus was first identified by scientists in 1958 when a 'pox-like' disease spread among monkeys.
How is MPOX spread?
Ampox is a viral infection that spreads primarily through contact with an infected person or animal. Ampox spreads from person to person through direct contact with infected skin or other lesions, such as the mouth or genitals. Most cases in central and western Africa have occurred in people who were in contact with infected animals. Experts say the infection can also spread through the use of contaminated items such as clothing or linens, common items used in tattoo shops, parlors or other public places. The virus can also spread from animals to humans through bites, scratches, eating or other activities with infected animals.
What are the symptoms of MPOX?
People infected with mumps often develop a rash that may appear on the arms, legs, chest, face, or around the mouth or genitals. These rashes eventually turn into pustules (large white or yellow bumps filled with pus) and crust over before healing. Other symptoms include fever, headache, and muscle aches. Lymph nodes may also swell as they try to fight off the virus, and in rare cases, the virus can be fatal. An infected person can infect many people from the time the initial symptoms appear to the rash and then recovery.
How long do the symptoms last?
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), symptoms of mumps start appearing within 21 days of exposure to the virus. The time from exposure to mumps to appearance of symptoms is 3 to 17 days. During this time, no symptoms appear in the person. But after this time the effect of the virus starts showing.
What is the treatment for Ampox?
There is no specific treatment for MPOX yet. However, the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends medication for its symptoms such as pain and fever. The CDC says that if the patient has a good immune system and does not have any skin disease, then it can be cured without any treatment. It just needs care.
