Rishikesh, August 13 (HS). Under the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, the Bharatiya Janata Party took out a Tiranga Yatra in Rishikesh on Tuesday. The Tiranga Yatra started from the Municipal Corporation premises and ended at the Gandhi Pillar at Triveni Ghat.
Haridwar MP and former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan is a campaign to connect people with nationalism. It is a campaign to awaken the feeling of patriotism in the minds of countrymen. He said that every worker has to deliver one flag to every house by 15 August. Cabinet Minister Premchand Agarwal said that Tiranga Yatra is dedicated to the brave fighters who are always ready to serve the country. This campaign will work to increase the feeling of patriotism, zeal and enthusiasm in every person. On this occasion, freedom fighters were honored by draping shawls and presenting mementos.
