MP: Tourism village Sawarwani of Chhindwara district included in Make My Trip

Chhindwara, June 15 (HS). The tourist village Sawarwani of Chhindwara district, which is being developed with the help of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, has been registered with the international agency Make My Trip. Now tourists from India and abroad can also book homestays of Sawarwani by visiting this site.

Balram Rajput, Nodal Officer of District Archeology, Tourism and Culture Council, said that on the initiative of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, to bring Sawarwani in Make My Trip, homestay operators of Sawarwani were given two days training at the Administration Academy of Bhopal. In this training, Tourism Board Director Prashant Sinha, Rural Project Director Priyanka Sinha and Make My Trip's Deepak Kumar gave many important suggestions to the homestay holders and shared their views on the hospitality of tourists coming from the country and abroad.

Rajput said that under the able guidance of Collector Sheelendra Singh and Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat Parth Jaiswal, a blueprint for development work is being prepared in all the nine tourist villages including tourist village Sawarwani. Soon new homestays will be opened for tourists in tourist villages Devgarh, Chopna and Kajra. He also said that the affordable discount scheme in homestays in tourist villages through Village Way, Back to Village organization is applicable till June 20, tourists wishing to visit Sawarwani and Devgarh can take advantage of the Summer Special Scheme.
