Siliguri, 19 October (HIST). Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the new terminal of Bagdogra Airport on Sunday. The Prime Minister will attend the program virtually. This program will be organized at Kawakhali Ground adjacent to Siliguri. On Saturday, Darjeeling MP Raju Bisht visited the venue. He reached Kawakhali ground in the morning and inspected the venue closely.

During this, Raju Bisht said that the dream of the city residents is going to be fulfilled. The Prime Minister will virtually lay the foundation stone of the new terminal of Bagdogra Airport tomorrow. About Rs 1540 crore will be spent on the renovation of the new airport. The new international airport will be 70,400 square meters. All modern services will be available at this airport. Neighboring states will also benefit from the construction of the airport. At the same time, the tourism sector will also gain momentum. Along with workers and supporters, BJP MPs from North Bengal, MLAs, MPs and leaders will also be present in tomorrow's program.
