With the aim of facilitating the access of national and international tourists to eight cities of Madhya Pradesh, the government has started “PM Shri Tourism Air Service”. This service was inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav in Bhopal on June 13. On Sunday, Indore and Gwalior have also been connected with this air service. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the “PM Shri Religious Tourism Heli Service” in Ujjain on Sunday. On this occasion, he said that with this helicopter-based air service, citizens will be able to visit the beautiful religious tourist places of the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that like Hanumanji's tail, it is not known where development will stop in Ujjain. Soon an airport will also be built in Ujjain. The Government of India has approved the proposal for this. Now even Kanh's water will not be available in Shipra. Soon Ujjain-Indore six lane and Ujjain-Javra four lane road project will start.
He said that Vikram Udyogpuri will be expanded in the city. Preparations are underway to acquire one thousand acres of land for this. Whatever they have said so far, they are doing it. MP Anil Ferozia also addressed the program. MLA Anil Jain, Satish Malviya were also present on this occasion.
“PM Shri Religious Tourism Heli Service” started from Ujjain. Two Jyotirlingas of Madhya Pradesh, Ujjain and Omkareshwar have been connected. A pilgrimage circuit of Indore-Ujjain and Omkareshwar has been made for the journey. On the basis of which devotees will be able to visit both the Jyotirlingas together. In return, they will have to pay a fare of Rs 12,524. The Aviation Department is working as the nodal agency for this air pilgrimage service and according to the increase in the number of passengers, the contract for increasing the number of helicopters will be increased with Sarv Aviation Company.
What is PM Shri Religious Tourism Heli Service
Under the PM Shri Religious Tourism Heli Service, access of devotees to the spiritual centers of Madhya Pradesh will be facilitated. Through this service, devotees, especially the elderly and the disabled, will be able to easily reach the two Jyotirlingas Ujjain and Omkareshwar and other religious places of the state. Under the scheme, one twin engine helicopter and two single engine helicopters have been added to the service. One twin engine helicopter will be available for flying in Bhopal and one single engine helicopter each in Indore and Ujjain. Booking can be done online from the portal of Madhya Pradesh Tourism, Make My Trip, Agoda, etc.
