Purnia, 26 October (Hindustan Reporter). A 20-point meeting of the District Program Implementation Committee was organized in Purnia under the chairmanship of Bihar Government Minister cum District Incharge Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary. In this meeting, the overall development of Purnia and various problems were discussed in depth. The meeting was mainly attended by MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav, all the MLAs of the district, District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police.
MP Pappu Yadav gave many important suggestions for the development of the district in the meeting. Highlighting the poor condition of Purnia, he urged Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary to pay special attention to the development of the district. Pappu Yadav said that there is a lack of transparency in land rate determination, which should be restored. He said that farmers in the district are suffering huge losses due to fake fertilizers and seeds. Those involved in black marketing and making fake fertilizers and seeds should be investigated and strict action should be taken against them. Demanding an investigation into this issue, he said that fertilizer worth Rs 1200 is being sold for Rs 3000, causing huge financial loss to the farmers.
MP Yadav also mentioned the occupation and illegal sale of drain land by land mafia in the town area. He urged that the bridges, culverts and roads damaged in the floods should be repaired soon. Apart from this, the construction work of roads started under the Prime Minister and Chief Minister Road Scheme is also lying incomplete for two years, which needs to be completed immediately.
In this meeting, assurance was given to take necessary steps for the development of Purnia and to take prompt action to solve the existing problems.
