Stone pelting in MP: Stone pelting incident took place in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh on Saturday (7 September) night. It is being told that during the Ganesh Sthapana procession, a fight broke out between two parties. After this, a youth threw a stone at the youths walking in the procession. After stone pelting on the youths walking in the procession, a huge crowd of people gathered at Dobatti police station. People gathered in large numbers started sloganeering. People of Hindu organization present in the police station have demanded strict action against those who pelted stones. Police fired tear gas shells to control the situation.

The incident of stone pelting in Madhya Pradesh is from Mochipura in Ratlam, where stone pelting took place during the Ganesh idol installation procession. After the dispute, workers of Hindu organizations reached the police station and demanded action against the accused. Meanwhile, the protesters kept chanting 'Jai Shri Ram'.

To control the situation, the police fired tear gas shells and controlled the crowd at Thana Dobatti crossing and Chhattipur. Along with this, the angry crowd vandalized several motorcycles in Mochipura area.

A large number of police forces were deployed

Ratlam SP Rahul Kumar Lodha said that as soon as the information about the dispute was received, the police took action and pacified the matter. Angry with the stone pelting during the Ganesh Sthapana procession, one party surrounded the police station. Action was demanded against the stone pelting protesters. On his orders, the police registered a case and arrested the accused and controlled the angry mob. Now for security reasons, a large number of police have been deployed in many areas of the city.

Police took the accused into custody

Ratlam CSP Anurag Warange said that there is news of some dispute in Mochipura area last night. During the Ganesh Sthapana procession, a stone was thrown from behind at a youth walking in the procession, on which the police immediately reached and arrested the youth who threw the stone in the CCTV camera video and registered a case and started investigation.
