Narsinghpur, 21 July (HS). The state's Panchayat and Rural Development and Labor Minister Prahlad Patel's health suddenly deteriorated on Sunday. Minister Patel had reached Neelkund in Sokalpur to attend a religious program, where he suddenly started feeling nervous. According to the protocol, no doctor or ambulance was present there. On receiving the information, Gadarwara Civil Hospital in-charge Dr. Rakesh Bohra reached the spot and gave medicines to the minister. After this, the minister left for Bhopal. On receiving information about the case, the collector has sought an investigation report from the SDM.
Minister Prahlad Patel had a program to visit Sokalpur Neelkund, which included Guru Purnima celebrations and other tree plantation programs. The CMHO was also informed about this program and on the instructions of the SDM, Dr. Abhinav Jain and other staff from the Civil Hospital were put on duty, but on Sunday the said team was not found on the spot, nor was any medical officer or ambulance arranged as per the protocol from the CMHO level.
Civil hospital in-charge Dr. Rakesh Bohare said that on receiving information about minister Patel's nervousness and restlessness, he reached near Paloha Tiraha to give medicines to the minister. He said that one of the minister's medicines was less. This problem had arisen due to fatigue from the programs along with humidity.
