
Madhya Pradesh High Court (MPHC), Jabalpur has released the detailed notification of Assistant Grade-3 Recruitment 2026 to fill the vacant posts in the District and Sessions Courts of the state. The online application process for this recruitment on a total of 1,174 posts has started on the official portal. This is an excellent opportunity for the youth preparing for government jobs to serve in the judiciary.

Educational qualification and age limit

Educational qualification: It is mandatory for the candidate to have graduation in any faculty from a recognized university. Along with this, it is necessary to have valid CPCT scorecard issued by MAP-IT and 1 year diploma in computer applications (like DCA, PGDCA, BCA, COPA etc.).

Age Limit (As on 1 January 2026): The minimum age has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age for candidates belonging to unreserved category of Madhya Pradesh and outside states has been fixed at 40 years. Reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) and female candidates of MP will be given relaxation in maximum age up to 45 years as per rules.

Selection Process and Exam Pattern

Online Preliminary Examination (CBT): There will be a multiple choice examination of 100 marks, in which 20-20 questions will be asked from General Knowledge/MP GK, Mathematics, Reasoning, Hindi, English and Computer. You will get 120 minutes time for this.

Hindi Typing Skill Test (Main Test): Successful candidates in Prelims will have to appear in Hindi Typing Test (on Remington Gail layout) of 50 marks.

Document Verification and Merit: Finally, document verification of successful candidates will be done on the basis of skill test and merit list.
