MP: Four people died and three injured in a collision with an uncontrolled truck in Satna

Bhopal, July 13 (HS). In Madhya Pradesh's Satna district, late Saturday evening, a speeding truck hit an Ertiga car coming from the front near a turn in village Bhargawan under Majhgawan police station area and dragged it for a long distance. Four people in the car died in the accident, while three people were seriously injured. On receiving information, the police reached the spot and with the help of local people and passersby, the injured were taken to the hospital through ambulance. A JCB had to be called to take out the car which was badly stuck in the truck.

According to Majhgawan police station, members of Tiwari and Dubey families from Sagar and Damoh were going to Chitrakoot for darshan on Saturday in car number MP-15, CB 4799. Meanwhile, near Bhargawan turn, a speeding truck coming from the wrong side hit their car. Two people died on the spot in the accident, while a 22-year-old woman and a 12-year-old child died in Satna District Hospital.

The accident was so severe that the bodies of the driver and two people sitting on the front seat were stuck in the car. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and pulled out the car stuck in the truck with the help of JCB. After this, the bodies were sent to the district hospital for postmortem. Police said three people were injured in the accident, who have been admitted to the hospital.

According to the police, those who lost their lives on the spot were identified as Chandrabhan Tiwari (45) son of Vasudev Tiwari, resident of Neha Nagar Makronia Sagar and Sudama Dubey (75) son of Bhagwandas Dubey. While 22-year-old girl Prachi Tiwari, son of Rajnish Tiwari, resident of Damoh and 12-year-old Akshant Dubey, son of Akhilesh Dubey died during treatment in the hospital. Two women and a 10-year-old boy Darsh, son of Avinash Dubey, injured in the accident have been admitted to the district hospital in critical condition. The deceased and the injured were relatives.
