Bhopal, 7 October (HS). Congress took out a candle march to protest against the incidents of rape, especially sexual exploitation of girls, in Madhya Pradesh. Late Monday evening in Bhopal, Congress workers came out carrying candles from bus stop number 6 to bus stop number 7. Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari, Bhopal Central MLA Arif Masood participated in the Congress candle march.

On the other hand, NSUI workers also came out to present bangles to the Police Commissioner for the seizure of MD drugs worth Rs 1800 crore in Bhopal. During this time, the police stopped everyone by barricading in front of the Red Cross Hospital. The police took NSUI state president Ashutosh Chowksey into custody from here and took him to the police station.

Congress state president Jitu Patwari, who participated in the candle march, said that 18 daughters are raped every day in Madhya Pradesh. While I am talking to you, a person shot three people of the same family in Chhatarpur. One of them was the daughter who had complained about the accused to the police. This is the jungle raj.

He said that women's safety is not the priority of the government. The priority of the government is to promote corruption and protect the mafia. The priority of the government is not that daughters should not be tortured while worshiping their mother. The government should pay attention to this. If 100 police officers are required then the government has only 50 officers. The government does not have arrangements for the safety of daughters. The government has brought anarchy in 20 years.

Patwari said that today all the sisters took out a candle march in the entire Madhya Pradesh under the leadership of Mahila Congress. After two days we will fast in the entire state. Will worship the feet of daughters and pray for their safety and security. After this, we will fast in Bhopal and even after this, if the atrocities do not end then we will appeal to the people in the entire Madhya Pradesh to shut down Madhya Pradesh one day in the honor of the daughters.
