Bhopal, 21 February (HS). Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will be on a visit to Chhindwara district today (Wednesday) and will gift development works worth crores of rupees to the district. The Chief Minister will inaugurate the Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Program and Shri Anna (Millets) Fair here and along with participating in the public meeting, he will also hold a road show.
Chhindwara Collector Sheelendra Singh said that as per the scheduled schedule, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will depart by helicopter and come to Imlikheda airstrip at 2:30 pm and will participate as the chief guest in the program organized at Pola Ground, Chhindwara. In the programme, the Chief Minister will inaugurate 36 construction works costing Rs 103.99 crore and perform Bhoomi Pujan and distribute benefits to the beneficiaries.
He informed that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will perform the bhoomi pujan of nine construction works costing Rs 46.77 crore of five departments and will inaugurate 27 development works costing Rs 57.22 crore of seven departments. He will also inaugurate the exhibition of Shri Ann Fair. Under this Shree Anna Mela, to promote Shree Grain, stalls of various dishes of Shree Grain (Millets) prepared by Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University, Jabalpur, in which products like noodles, pasta, cookies, biscuits etc. will be displayed and the technology of Shree Grain production and processing will be demonstrated in the workshop. Information will be given in which farmers from all the development blocks of the district will participate.
