Bhopal. 31 August (HS). A special program will be organized at 3 pm today (Saturday) at Ravindra Bhawan in Bhopal on Vimukta Diwas under the chief hospitality of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The Chief Minister will launch the departmental portal “Samartha”. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare, Vimukta, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Welfare Krishna Gaur and Chairman of Madhya Pradesh State Vimukta, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Caste Development Agency Babulal Banjara will be present as special guests.
Director of Vimukta, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Department Neeraj Vashishth said that in Madhya Pradesh, a total of 51 castes are included under Vimukta, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic communities. Out of these 51 castes, 30 castes have been classified as Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic communities and 21 castes have been classified as Vimukta communities. Out of these 51 castes, 14 castes come under Scheduled Caste and 10 castes come under Other Backward Classes, the remaining 27 castes come under the unreserved category.
