Bhopal, 23 October (HS). Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a one-to-one meeting with leading industrialists in the fifth Regional Industry Conclave (RIC) held in Rewa on Wednesday and discussed new opportunities for industrial development and investment in the state. He said that with RIC, Rewa will emerge as an important industrial center of the state, where the state government will provide all possible support to the industrialists. The government has strengthened industry-friendly policies for investment, which will give a rapid boost to economic activities in the state. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, MSME Minister Chaitanya Kashyap, Chief Secretary Anurag Jain and Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Raghavendra Kumar Singh were present.
Managing Director and CEO of Dalmia Cement, Puneet Dalmia informed Chief Minister Dr. Yadav about setting up a cement plant and new mining project in the state. He explained his action plan towards promoting green energy and waste management. Siddharth Infratech (Greenco) Director Madhusudan Konda informed about the project of setting up pumped hydro storage plants in Rewa and Panna districts, stating the immense potential in the field of renewable energy in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav appreciated this project of investment by Konda.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav to S. Goenka Group MD Anand Goenka told about the plan to set up a clinker plant under the mining area. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav assured them that additional land allocation, single window permissions and capital assistance will be provided by the government for this project. Discussing the opportunities for development of petrochemical industry, BPCL CGM Kapil Rajoria told about the plan to set up petroleum storage and distribution depot in Singrauli district. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav assured them that the land and connectivity issues for the access road to the distribution depot would be resolved.
Naresh Goyal, Managing Director of Rama Group, informed about its projects in the manufacturing sector. He said that this project will provide direct and indirect employment opportunities to more than 2000 people. Star Group Chairman Ramesh Singh gave information to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav regarding the compressed biogas plant to reduce carbon emissions from the point of view of environmental protection. In this sequence, Reliance Bio Energy Business Head Harindra K. Tripathi, Solar AMC CEO Digendra Rathore and Mahan Energy Limited, Adani Group Cluster Head Bacha Prasad also shared views on the prospects in the renewable energy sector.
Atul Mehrotra, Director of Mehrotra Buildcon Private Limited, appreciated the industrial policy of the state government and shared his plans towards the development of food processing industry. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also encouraged them to prepare ShriAnn's products under the food processing industry. KS Singhvi, Director, KJS Cement, explained his plans for expansion of cement industry in Maihar and discussed financial assistance and land allotment for the same. Rajendra Kabra, Chief Operation Officer Manufacturing- Central Cluster, Aditya Birla Ultratech discussed about the investment.
Siddharth Shukla, Director, Vastec Inc., presented his plans in the IT and semiconductor sector and expressed his desire to bring representatives of data centers and Global Capability Centers being operated in the US to the Global Investors Summit to be held in February 2025 in Bhopal. . Balaji Wafers MP Head Sameer Patar while praising RIC said that this conclave under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will prove to be a milestone in the development of Vindhya region. Patar informed them about the immense possibilities in the food processing sector in the state.
Prateek Gola, CEO of Sudarshan Techno Solutions Pvt Ltd, gave information about the role of their company in defense manufacturing and Santosh Kamble, MD, Wizcraft Solutions Pvt Ltd, gave information about the role of their company in the manufacturing industry. Sanjay Chauhan, Director of Shiv Shakti Construction Limited and Ajit Samdaria, Director of Samdaria Builders shared their plans in the field of infrastructure development. In this sequence, Vidya Chamber of Commerce President Santosh Kumar Sukheja discussed with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on behalf of the industry association.
