Meerut, August 26 (HS). Meerut Hapur Lok Sabha constituency MP Arun Govil spoke to Meerut District Magistrate Deepak Meena and discussed the district's loan-deposit ratio. The MP said that the current loan-deposit ratio of Meerut district is 53.27 percent, which is less than the 59 percent set for Uttar Pradesh. He said that the Chief Minister expects improvement in this ratio.
The MP told the District Magistrate that a Memorandum of Understanding of Rs 31 thousand crore was signed in the Investors Meet held in Meerut district, due to which there is every possibility of improvement in the loan-deposit ratio. He asked the District Magistrate to organize a loan fair as soon as possible in 2024, so that the loan-deposit ratio of the district can be improved. The MP said that for the development of Meerut district it is necessary that we improve our loan-deposit ratio and strengthen the economy of the district. He told the District Magistrate that he would make every possible effort for the development of the district.
District Magistrate Deepak Meena assured MP Arun Govil that he will take necessary steps to improve the loan-deposit ratio of the district. He will work to organize a loan fair in 2024. He said that we will make every effort for the development of the district.
