MP: Arrest warrant issued for Akshay Bam and his father for not appearing in court

Indore, May 10 (HS). In Indore, the Sessions Court on Friday has issued an arrest warrant in a 17-year-old case against Akshay Bam and his father Kantilal Bam, who left Congress and joined BJP 12 days ago. The court has asked the police to arrest both of them and present them before them by July 8.

Actually, both Akshay Bam and Kantilal Bam were to appear before the District Court on Friday in the case of land dispute and attempt to murder, but both remained absent. Akshay applied for exemption from attendance saying that he was out of the city due to a family event. His father Kantilal had applied for exemption from appearance saying that he was ill and the doctor had asked him to take rest. The court rejected the application and issued arrest warrants for both of them. On Friday itself, another application was submitted by the complainant in the case, in which there was a demand to cancel the bail given earlier to the accused, the court has also canceled it.

It is noteworthy that in a 17 year old case against Akshay Bomb and Kantilal Bomb, the District Court had on April 24, 2024 increased the section of attempt to murder and ordered the accused to appear before the Sessions Court on May 10, but they did not. Happened.

Public Prosecutor Abhijit Singh Rathore told the court on Friday that in the application, Akshay has said that he is out of the city due to a family event, but he is seen with the leaders in the election campaign. His father Kantilal is also healthy. Therefore, the attendance waiver applications should be cancelled. Accepting the argument, the court issued arrest warrants for both of them.

According to Mukesh Deval, lawyer of complainant Yunus Patel, the matter pertains to land in the Canadian area. This land belonged to the complainant Yunus Patel. Akshay Bam, Kanti Bam and other members of their family had entered into a contract in the year 2007, selling this land for Rs 50 lakh. Later, the accused got the land registered by giving a cheque, but the check bounced. Here the accused also got the land transferred without informing the complainant. On October 4, 2007, the complainant was at his farm when accused Kantilal Bam, Akshay Bam, along with seven-eight other people arrived. He also had a gun in his hand. Bam said that this is Yunus Guddu. shoot it. On this someone else fired a bullet which passed near the complainant's ear.
