MP: Appointments of Chairman and Vice Chairman of many development authorities including Indore-Ujjain canceled

Bhopal, 16 February (HS). The newly formed Dr. Mohan Yadav government in Madhya Pradesh, after the decision to cancel the political appointments made during the previous government in Corporation, Board, Board and Authority, has now canceled the nomination of Chairman and Vice Chairman by the departments. The Urban Development and Housing Department on Friday canceled the appointments of chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of Indore, Bhopal, Ujjain and other development authorities. To ensure that there is no hindrance in the functioning of the authorities, the department has given the charge of the post of Chairman to the Divisional Commissioner and Collector.

In the order issued by the Urban Development and Housing Department, it has been said that the Divisional Commissioner will take charge of the Chairman of Indore, Bhopal and Ujjain Development Authority. Whereas, the charge of Chairman of Katni Ratlam and Dewas Development Authority has been given to the Collector. The charge of Chairman of Special Area Development Authority, Pachmarhi will remain with Narmadapuram Collector.
