The fortunate thing was that the driver and one of his companions saved their lives by jumping out of the car in time.
This incident happened near Daroga Kheda in Sarojini Nagar police station area of Lucknow. According to the information received, Raju, a resident of Barabanki, was coming from Kanpur to Lucknow by car with one of his friends. When they reached near Kisan Path, they saw smoke coming from the bonnet of the car. Before they could understand anything, the smoke took the form of flames and the fire started spreading rapidly throughout the vehicle.
