MoU signed between Triple IT and STPI to promote technology

Prayagraj, 17 February (HS). An MoU was signed on Saturday between STPI and Triple IT Allahabad to promote innovation, innovation and entrepreneurship in the medical field. Through mutual cooperation between STPI Next (Registered Section 8 Company), innovation and entrepreneurship in the technology sector, especially in the medical sector, will be promoted by both the institutions. Through this MoU, TripleIT will share partnership as an academic partner for mentorship and handholding.

Giving this information, Dr. Pankaj Mishra, PRO, Triple IT, said that Software Technology Park of India (STPI) is a leading science and technology organization under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, which is engaged in Internet of Things, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Robotics, Robotics Process Automation, Augmented & Virtual Reality, Animation & Visual Effects, Data Science & Analytics for various domains of Gaming, Fintech, Agritech, Medtech, Autonomous Connected Electric & Shared Mobility, ESDM, Cyber ​​Security Engaged in promoting IT-ITeS industry, innovation, research and development, start-ups, product-IP creation in the field of emerging technologies like Industry 4.0, Drones, Efficiency Augmentation etc.

He informed that to establish India's leadership in the above technology areas, STPI is setting up Center of Entrepreneurship-Technology Incubators across the country in a collaborative manner. Till date, STPI has launched the following 23 Centers of Entrepreneurship. Among these, SGPGI Lucknow has established MedTech Center of Excellence in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Technology of the Government of India, Software Technology Parks of India, IT Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh and SGPGI to promote startups and entrepreneurship in the medical technology sector. Has been done.

Currently, 34 startups are working in various product-prototypes in the MedTech Centre. These startups are being provided the facility of mentorship, funding support, investor, industry, connect, clinical trials etc. by this center along with the facility of lab for making and testing product prototypes. Dr. Praveen Kumar Dwivedi, Additional Director and Officer-in-Charge, on behalf of STPI and Dr. Satish Kumar Singh, Registrar, on behalf of Triple IT, signed the MoU.
