Poonch, September 12 (HS). As part of the Systematic Voter Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme, the District Election Officers of Poonch on Thursday organized a motorbike rally to encourage voter participation.
The rally which started from Dak Bungalow Poonch passed through various areas and ended at Kanuiyan. The rally was flagged off by ADC Tahir Mustafa Malik. The event was led by District Election Officer Vikas Kundal which was attended by election observers and other officials. During this Vikas Kundal stressed on the importance of voter awareness. He said that we organized this rally to make people more aware about their voting rights and the importance of their participation in the upcoming elections.
This rally is part of a broader effort to ensure that all eligible voters in the district are informed and motivated to cast their votes, thereby strengthening the democratic process.
