After which Raghunathpur police station has raided Manjuraha village adjacent to Motihari city and busted a liquor manufacturing factory.

Along with this, liquor manufacturing operator Manoj Kumar Rai and another businessman Vinay Ram have been arrested. During this time, the police have recovered country liquor making equipment, about 100 liters of raw spirit, 85 pieces of country liquor, liquor packing machine, wrappers, 14 empty liquor boxes and other items from the basement built in the house of liquor businessman Manoj Rai. . A large amount of liquor has also been recovered from the house of businessman Vinay Ram.

During interrogation, Manoj Rai revealed to the police that he used to procure raw spirit from outside, manufacture liquor and supply it in the area. Raghunathpur police station incharge Vikas Kumar Paswan said that the arrested businessman was manufacturing poisonous liquor on a large scale. Police is investigating its linkage. After interrogation, a case will be registered against both of them and they will be sent to judicial custody. SP Swarna Prabhat said that all the DSPs and police station incharges of the district have been asked to make a Panchayat wise list of liquor mafia and keep an eye on their activities. Along with arresting the active liquor traders, a minimum bond of Rs 2 to 5 lakh should be given to the inactive liquor mafia. Instructions have been given.
