Hooghly, 06 May (HS). A teenager was killed and two of his friends were injured in a bomb blast near a pond in Pandua in Hooghly district on Monday morning. In this case, the police have arrested the mother of an injured teenager. According to the police, the woman had planted the bomb to kill her son due to an illicit relationship. The district police initially claimed that the incident was non-political. He has also given a report to the Election Commission in this regard.
On Monday morning, a boy named Raj Vishwas (11) was killed when a bomb exploded on the bank of a pond in Tinna Netaji Colony, Pandua. He died in a sudden explosion while playing near the pond with his neighborhood friends. Rupam Vallabh and another teenager were injured in the incident. This incident, which took place in the morning during the voting season, immediately took on a political colour. BJP candidate from Hooghly Locket Chatterjee alleged that Trinamool has collected bombs to spread terror. He demanded an NIA investigation into the matter. On the other hand, the Election Commission has called for a report from the district police on this incident.
Pandua police station has started a thorough investigation of the incident. Investigators claim that Rita, the mother of injured teenager Roopam, is behind the blast. Rita's marriage with Rupam's father Sukhdev had broken. After this she got married to a migrant worker from the area named Deva Sarkar. The only thorn in his path was Roopam. He wanted to kill Rupam and Sukhdev. So he shook hands with Deva and placed the bomb on the banks of the pond.
Based on Sukhdev's complaint, the police interrogated Rita and arrested her.
However, Rita's family has denied the allegations. He claimed that Rita was tortured by Sukhdev and his mother. Therefore she was forced to leave the family. Sukhdev is trapping Rita to vent out his anger.
