Today on Sharadpoonam night, Garba lovers will worship Goddess Lakshmi and do Garba Parikrama. Along with this, the festival is also going on for the next fifteen days. Especially this time, Diwali is coming 15 days after Navratri and a series of festivals have been organized in the month of October itself.
Milk and kheer kept in moonlight is very good for health.
Kojagari Purnima, Sharadpurnima or Pauha Poonam is among the festivals starting as per Hindu tradition of Gujarat today on Wednesday, October 16. Lord Shri Krishna calls out the thunder of Garba at night. Art flourishes in Sharadpoonam moon. There is only one day in the year when even the moon has been seen blooming in the sixteenth century. Also, on the night of this day, Goddess Lakshmi and Indra come to earth riding on Airavat. On this night, a ghee lamp, fragrant incense and a lamp are lit near the Peepala tree in the house where Goddess Lakshmi resides.
Today Sharadpurnima, now Diwali, 15 days left in the year
On the occasion of this festival, traditionally, milk-pauna and kheer kept in moonlight at night are considered very important. Last year, Lakshmi puja was not performed on the Sharadpoonam night due to lunar eclipse on Sharadpurnima festival on Saturday. This time worship should be done on the night of Sharadpoonam. Garba is organized at many places on the night of Sharadpoonam, players play Raas-Garba with Manmukhi. Along with this, according to Hindu religion, the New Year will fall at the end of November and on the second day of the beginning of November.

Coincidence of one and a half day Kali Chaudas and Diwali after years
After years, this year a unique combination of one and a half day Kali Chaudas and Diwali is being created. This combination has occurred in the states of the western part of India. Then in the eastern states, two days of Kali Chaudash and one day of Diwali have come together. Kali Chaudas tithi is on 30th October and Kali Chaudas tithi is for one and a half day till 03.54 pm on 31st October. Diwali will be celebrated by sitting on 31st October from 03:54 pm onwards. Diwali will also be celebrated on 1st November i.e. Diwali will be celebrated for one and a half day. This coincidence has happened due to time change in the eastern and western parts. One and a half day Kali Chaudas and Diwali will be celebrated in the western states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Kerala and Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. In the rest of the eastern states, there will be Kali Chaudash for two days and Diwali for one day. Therefore, Padar Diwas i.e. Ghoko will be celebrated in some areas between Diwali and New Year.
