Bikaner, 14 November (HS). Mother and son died in a road accident between Bikaner and Deshnok in Gangashahar police station area. Both of them were picked up by passersby and taken to PBM Hospital, where first the mother and later the son died. A two year old child has been injured in the accident.
Gangashahar police station in-charge Samarveer said that Lakshma and Ganesh had left for Deshnok from Bikaner on a bike. Both are mother and son. A bus running there went out of control in front of some animal on the way. The bus hit the bike. Due to which three people riding on the bike fell on the road. Due to speed, serious injury occurred on the road. Due to this both of them got head injuries. Passersby took both of them to PBM Hospital but by the time they reached here, mother Lakshma (45) had died, while son Ganesh (25) later died. Ganesh’s two-year-old son was also on the bike, who narrowly escaped. The bodies of both have been kept in the mortuary. Head constable Lekhram of Gangashahar police station is on the spot and is conducting the post-mortem. The bike has been removed from the spot and taken to the side.
