On this occasion, Agriculture Minister Aindlal Singh Kanshana, MP Shivmangal Singh Tomar, BJP District President Dr. Yogeshpal Gupta, former MLA Subedar Singh Rajaudha along with public representatives and a large number of farmers were present.
Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar said that the Agriculture Minister is a farmer's son, belongs to a village, he understands the pain and suffering of the farmers very well. Therefore, keeping in mind the problems of the farmers, he has decided to make the Mandis modern Mandis, which has started from Morena district. Modern facilities like rest house, shed, gate, CC road will be made available to the farmers in the Mandi. Mr. Tomar said that earlier farming was dependent on God, due to which sometimes farmers had to suffer losses. Today farmers get money without interest, earlier an amount of Rs 4 lakh was available under KCC, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi has increased this amount to 20 lakhs. He said that the Central Government is giving Rs 6 thousand and the State Government is also giving Rs 6 thousand per year to small and medium farmers. Madhya Pradesh is the only state where farmers get Rs 12 thousand in a year. That money helps the farmers a lot.
The State's Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Aindlal Singh Kanshana said that to make Morena's Mandi ultra-modern, the ground breaking ceremony of various construction works worth Rs. 27 crores was done today. With this, the condition of all the Mandis of the state will change in the coming 5 years. The farmers selling their crops will get the facilities of rest house, TV, CC road, water, toilet, bank, hospital in the Mandi so that if the farmer falls ill, he can get immediate treatment. Bank facility will be available for depositing money. If our farmers are prosperous, then the industries will also be successful and the country will also develop.
