More than six hundred players will participate in TSH Stag Global UP State Ranking Table Tennis

Kanpur, 10 October (Hindustan Reporter). Under the joint aegis of 'The Sports Hub' and Kanpur Table Tennis Association, TSH 3rd Stag Global UP State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament will be organized at 'TSH' from 14 to 16 October. More than six hundred players from different districts of the state will participate in this three-day competition, which includes many national and international players. The winners, runners-up and semi-finalists of the competition will be given medals as well as cash prizes. This information was given on Thursday by Uttar Pradesh Table Tennis Association President Sanjeev Pathak 'Bobby', international table tennis player Geeta Tandon Kapoor, KTTA Secretary Sanjay Tandon and 'TSH' Director Operations P.K. Srivastava, Director Sports R.P. Singh gave a joint press conference.

UPTTA President Sanjeev Pathak said that in the men's category of the competition, Divyansh Srivastava of Lucknow and Anika Gupta of Ghaziabad have been given first priority in the women's category. In this sequence, Kanpur's Advit Gupta has got the fifth position and Satyam Giri Gupta has got the eighth position. He said that players from Kanpur have been given preference at many places in different categories. The main judge of the competition will be international umpire Atin Rastogi of Lucknow and competition manager, international umpire Sanjay Tandon of Kanpur.

He told that this three-day competition will be inaugurated on October 14 at 12 noon. A felicitation ceremony for the players will be organized on October 15, the second day of the competition. International table tennis player Geeta Tandon said that the honored players will be given medals as well as cash incentives as a mark of respect.

Secretary of Kanpur Table Tennis Association, Sanjay Tandon said that the prizes will be distributed at 4 pm on the last and third day of the competition. Sunil Singh, Joint Secretary of Kanpur Table Tennis Association, who was present in the press conference, said that there will be a total of 24 events in the competition, in which apart from men and women, boys and girls under-11, 13, 15, 17 and 19 singles events and veterans event will be held. It includes male and female age groups above 39, 49, 59, 64, 69, 74. Ashish Kapoor, Arun Dubey, Ashutosh Satyam Jha, Anurag Jaiswal, Keshav Dwivedi, Saurabh Srivastava, Avinash Yadav, Kamlesh Yadav, Anil Verma etc. were present in the press conference.
