More than 4000 arrested, chaos again in Pakistan, Imran Khan supporters took to the streets

More than 4000 supporters arrested

Violence has erupted in Islamabad over the release of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Imran Khan’s supporters are protesting violently demanding his release from jail. Police have arrested more than 4000 supporters in this case. Five MPs are also included in these. Mobile-internet services have been suspended in Punjab and north-west Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Islamabad has been declared a red zone and closed.

Police fired tear gas shells while taking action on violent protests against Imran Khan. Besides, they are arresting every person who comes out under tight security.

82 deaths in 3 days

Communal riots have erupted in Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. While 83 people have been killed in three days of communal violence between Shias and Sunnis, more than 150 people have been injured. More than 300 families have also fled towards Kurram. Last Thursday (November 21), more than 40 people were killed in an attack on a convoy carrying 200 Shia Muslims. Communal violence broke out between the two and reports emerged that the attack was carried out by a Sunni. Shias and Sunnis have been fighting for years in Pakistan, a Sunni-dominated country.

Terrorist attacks also increased in Pakistan

The number of terrorist attacks in Pakistan has also increased. There were 59 terrorist attacks in August. Police said that the recent attack on Shia Muslims was also carried out by terrorists. In which more than 50 people were killed. There was a clash between the army and terrorists in north-west Pakistan. In which 12 army soldiers were martyred and six terrorists were killed.
