According to media reports, between February 29 and March 6, people living in the country illegally were arrested. According to the Home Ministry, 12,951 people violated the country's residency system rules, 6,592 people violated border security rules and 3,497 people violated labor laws. According to a report by Saudi Arabian media, this number of infiltrators is going to break records after the year 2021. A total of 19,812 infiltrators were arrested in the year 2021.

Saudi Arabia's Interior Ministry said people found aiding, harboring or providing facilities to infiltrators could face up to 15 years in prison and a fine. Saudi Arabia has taken this action before the beginning of the month of Ramadan. At present, Ramadan fasting has started in Saudi Arabia with the sighting of the moon.
