Gorakhpur, 18 October (Hindustan Reporter). The students of Deendayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University have performed brilliantly in the UGC NET, JRF and PhD eligibility examination of June-2024. More than hundred students from various departments have been selected in the UGC NET-JRF eligibility test.
It is noteworthy that for the first time in the UGC NET eligibility test, results have been declared in three categories, determining eligibility for JRF, NET for Assistant Professor and PhD.
In the UGC NET exam results declared late on Thursday evening, Deendayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University's Economics, Psychology, Defense Studies, Sociology, English, Hindi, Political Science, Urdu, Law Department, Geography, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Biotechnology, Home Science, Ancient History, Music. And about a hundred students of Fine Arts, Zoology, Pedagogy, Adult Education and Commerce subjects have been selected for NET-JRF. In this, more than two dozen students have achieved success for Junior Research Fellowship. Apart from this, a large number of students have also passed the examination for PhD eligibility. It is worth mentioning here that a large number of students from Hindi, English, Political Science, Defense Studies and Commerce subjects have achieved success in NET-JRF. In the last session's NET eligibility test also, more than 80 students of the university had won the NET-JRF eligibility test.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Congratulating the students who have passed the UGC NET-JRF eligibility test, Poonam Tandon said, 'This achievement is the result of the hard work of our students. The University has been continuously striving to provide a conducive environment and proper guidance to its students to excel in NET-JRF examination. The result is that more than a hundred students have qualified the NET-JRF examination. Opportunity will be provided to prepare for these examinations in the upcoming session also.
It is noteworthy that the University makes continuous efforts to guide its students at the departmental level for excellent performance in the UGC NET examination. In this direction, free UGC NET exam preparation classes were also conducted through the Dean Student Welfare of the University.
