Moradabad, 02 July (HS). Moradabad Development Authority Vice President Shailesh Kumar held a press conference in the authority auditorium on Tuesday. He told the journalists that Moradabad Master Plan-2031 has been approved by the Uttar Pradesh government. The MDA Vice President further informed that in this regard, a letter from Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Nitin Ramesh Gokarna has been received by email in the government today.
In the letter sent by ACS Dr. Nitin Ramesh Gokarna, it has been said that in compliance with the recommendations of the Government Committee meeting held on February 13, it was requested to approve the Revised Moradabad Master Plan 2031 (draft). Compliance report of the instructions given after the presentation of Revised Moradabad Master Plan 2031 (draft) by the said letter of the Authority dated June 20, 2024 has been provided.
In the letter, it has been told that the conditions on which the decision to approve the Revised Moradabad Master Plan 2031 (draft) has been taken include ensuring action as per the government orders issued from time to time in compliance with the decision orders passed by the Supreme Court/High Court and National Green Tribunal for the protection of parks and open spaces, green belts, recreational areas. It should be ensured that the compliance interpretation provided by the Authority in compliance with the instructions given by the Government Government Committee regarding the Revised Moradabad Master Plan 2031 (draft) by the Moradabad Development Authority is confirmed by the Authority Board.
